AI ethics statement.
- The project contains no AI-authored content.
  
  Most of it is written by me personally.
  
  Some parts are stolen forked from people who published their work with open licenses.
  
  Other authors are always credited in the footer.
  
  I also designed the markup language personally.
  
  The styling and user experience is the result of many hours of obsessive tweaking.
  
  AI feedback is sometimes requested during the revision of written content.
  
  Usually I end up disagreeing with the AI, but it's a useful rubber duck to shout at.
  
  Wording suggested by AI is never copied verbatim.
- It does run on AI-authored code.
  
  I've made use of the Claude pro subscription plan.
  
  Through this subscription plan I've paid around 20 € a month to Anthropic during this site's development.
  
  Anthropic Claude was used through the Visual Studio Code "Claude Code" plugin.
- The project commits itself to disclose AI-authored content inline, if it ever does get added.

  I am basically anti-AI.
  
  Put bluntly,
  
  I believe artificial intelligence has made us dumber.
  
  I believe it has worsened social-economic divisions.
  
  I believe it has further polluted the information channels we use.
  
  I believe it has further centralized power into the hands of unaccountable corporate giants.
  
  I believe it is an existential threat.
  
  We can't overcome the harm of AI just by using it responsibly.
  
  These effects are systemic. How any individual interacts with AI matters less than what algorithms and market forces amplify.
  
  Purposeful political action can and does make a difference.
  
  It all the same seems senseless not to use AI to accelerate your work.
  
  Personally abstaining from AI use will not counteract the systemic harm.
  
  Not using it puts initiatives trying to counteract AI at an unforced disadvantage.
  
  This site tries to counteract AI in its form and content.
  
  It tries to create a space to write, document and interlink human-authored content.
  
  It does this at a moment when dominant institutions are refusing to do so.
  
  This is an understatement. Dominant institutions are actively doing the opposite.
  
  I hope that the site is successful enough to be forgiven for using AI to create it.
